Position Overview

At BradyPLUS, our Sales Managers play an important role as team frontrunners. Not only do they motivate and mentor, but they also train and lead our thriving team of Sales Representative to surpass goals, generate new business relationships, and grow existing accounts. The Sales Manager focuses on a specific customer segment to maximize growth opportunities and drive sales in selective segments.

The Sales Managers will focus on their specified team researching opportunities, generating leads, pursuing prospects with the appropriate Sales Representatives, developing pricing schemes, and creating value added selling tools to support the segment. The Sales Managers are responsible for managing and overseeing the pipeline for all Sales Representatives for their specific prospects within their segment. This person will work with the appropriate Sales Representative that is geographically positioned for each prospective account and has the ability to guide and empower their team. They will also have a responsibility to ensure that the prospective accounts are being maintained properly on an on-going basis.

Salary Range: The target salary range for the position is $135,000-$155,000 annually based on experience plus bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for assisting sales team in achieving or exceeding sales budgeted goals. Coordinate with Sales Representatives and conduct the management of sales efforts with target accounts.
  • Responsible for day-to-day leadership of the sales team and all decisions and actions of personnel under his/her DC.
  • Responsible for setting clear direction, guiding the team towards common goals and company objectives.
  • Utilize current methods and tools to develop sales team on a personal and professional basis {i.e., Sales Playback, Sales Bootcamp training, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Ensure business activity and development is managed through company required software programs. Ensure company-sponsored tools for time and territory management are being used appropriately.
  • Build rapport and relationships with key customers.
  • Responsible for embracing innovation and encourages their team to think creatively and adapt to new challenges.
  • Be actively involved in community and business organizations.
  • Establish objectives for sales team on promotions and major new products.
  • Assists with planning special events such as trade shows, banquets, and seminars.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous Sales and Management experience preferably in a distribution environment. Exceptional people and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to network in many mediums including social media.
  • Ability to seek and generate prospects and leads.
  • Demonstrated/effective organizational skills, conflict management skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills utilizing Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical skills utilizing Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to learn and utilize Pipeline and ERP Software.
