Primary Function
The main responsibilities of this highly visible and influential role include defining, aligning and executing a comprehensive operations & service management strategy and investment plan; oversight for operational deliver of consistent, reliable services across the key domains; and the leadership of a global, multi-dimensional and matrixed team. This individual must navigate and manage new challenges to operate existing and emerging technologies, develop new, agile ways-of working within the IT organization, identify and develop necessary organizational skills and competencies and leverage new external partner models to drive efficiency.
Specific Responsibilities:
Leads the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of technologies such as: Telecommunications (voice and data), Hosting & Computer Operations, Servers & Desktops, Digital Workplace, Records, Management, and the Service Desk.
Develops and executes the infrastructure and operations strategy road map and annual execution plans linked to targeted business outcomes.
Partners with cross functional teams to establish key technical standards, methods, and priorities for implementation.
Fosters a continuous improvement mindset and achieves year-on-year efficiencies through the leverage of new technologies, capabilities, and strategic partners to remain "best-in-class" from a running cost perspective.
Acts as a thought leader to introduce and assess emerging capabilities and technologies and how they can and should be leveraged throughout the organization.
Drives simplification, standardization, and globalization of the operations and service management environment.
Establishes framework, direction, and expectations across the organization with respect to selection, acquisition, operation, and maintenance of systems infrastructure.
Develops, manages, and actively communicates metrics to measure effectiveness, participating in external benchmarking activities as appropriate.
Monitors and maintains implementation plans and budgets, ensuring key milestones are achieved across the domains.
Operates a formal governance mechanism to ensure services are delivered in line with agreed-on business outcomes.
Ensures all solutions and platforms are optimized from a technology, performance, security, and user experience perspective.
Conducts or reviews feasibility studies for projects to drive exceptional project outcomes with realistic, and clearly articulated budgets and timelines.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required, with a preference towards a master's degree.
7+ years of experience in IT, with demonstrated success in infrastructure and operations domains.

The salary range for this position is $141,000 - $191,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
