Our client is currently seeking a M&S Senior System Analyst. Seeking a motivated data analyst to support the C2BMC National Team (NT) in support of analysis of missile tracking and models in the test bed. This individual will be a part of a focused technical team verifying and validating metrics, statistics and descriptive analysis of test data from Missile Defense Systems in development in support of national security. The candidate will participate in research and analysis to identify meaningful metrics, patterns and trends from the test datasets, and use statistical methods to validate or reject hypotheses about the data. Techniques may include visualization, simulation, and system modeling to achieve the desired analysis results. The candidate should possess technical skills to assist in the development of software tools to evaluate software, algorithms and processes used to build the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) element of the Missile Defense System (MDS).


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Some experience in message-based analysis of complex systems, or other analysis experience.


• Experience with Object oriented coding skills (i.e. Python, Java, etc), or ability to learn these.


• Experience with the Linux environment.


• Experience with using and maintaining relational databases desired. Experience in the use of software test and analysis tools.


• Desired skills: Python programming experience. Bash or similar scripting experience. Strong sense of how data "tells a story". Use of spreadsheets for data analysis and associated tools.


• Experience in manipulation of large data sets.


• Development of software test and analysis tools.


• Development and automation of data management processes and tools.


• Security+ certification.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Technical BA/BS (Engineering, Computer Science, Math) or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Candidate is expected to travel as needed (less than 10%) but the majority of work will be conducted between Colorado Springs office and Schriever AFB.Some non-standard work hours are possible intermittently.


• DoD 8570 IAT Level-II certification (e.g. Sec+) required.
