Job Description:

We are currently seeking compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our dedicated team. As a COTA, you will work closely with licensed occupational therapists to implement comprehensive treatment plans aimed at helping our patients regain functional abilities and enhance their quality of life. Your expertise and dedication will play a vital role in assisting individuals in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with occupational therapists to assess patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

  • Provide hands-on assistance and instruction to patients in therapeutic activities designed to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and cognitive function.

  • Guide patients in performing activities of daily living, such as dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks.

  • Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Document patient care activities, progress, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and promote continuity of services.


Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

  • Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of California.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
