A Change Manager determines the strategy and tactics of change activities to support a successful transformation.



What You'll Do



  • Develop and implement change management solutions for strategic and large-scale projects, aligning them with organizational business strategies

  • Conduct diagnostics and utilize human-centered design techniques to understand people, process, and technology changes and ensure targeted future experiences and ways of working

  • Work directly with clients to understand change-related goals and translate them into organizational impacts; help define desired outcomes as well as change / adoption metrics

  • Assess audience readiness for the change including identifying risks and anticipated areas of resistance, evaluating results, and presenting findings

  • Take a human-centered, agile approach to change, helping lead and implement communications, engagement and alignment, learning / training, regular feedback loops and other change activities across all levels in an organization

  • Collaborate with client organization change management and HR teams as needed; co-create change solutions with end users and other stakeholders to ensure they are relevant and impactful

  • Help educate client stakeholders on the value of change management and organizational effectiveness overall




What You'll Bring



  • Experience working at a traditional or boutique consulting firm

  • Proven success supporting organizational change management activities on a high-complexity, program-wide change

  • Experience conducting current state assessments to determine organizational readiness for an enterprise transformation.

  • Passion for human centered design, agile / lean approaches to change, leading with empathy, enhancing employee experience and engagement, improving processes, driving outcomes, collaborating with others, and accelerating progress

  • Strong ability to craft and deliver clear, compelling messages to audiences at all organizational levels, from frontline employees to senior executives.

  • Comfortability navigating ambiguity and interfacing directly with clients.

  • Ability to be onsite in greater Detroit or Grand Rapids area for 1-3 days per week

  • Certifications welcomed but not required: Prosci, CCMP, CMS, PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP /SHRM-SCP
