As a Sciex Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the North American Field Sales Organization by providing quotations and processing orders for consumables and instruments for internal and external customers. Detailed review of all instruments driven purchase orders and compliance with quotation terms and company processes based upon legal and finance policies. Maintain documentation and customer communication per the ISO 13485 and 9001 guidelines. Frequent collaboration with but not limited to: Field Sales, Field Service, Marketing, Tech Support, Finance, Product Management, Logistics/Distribution, Planning/Procurement and Vendors.



This position is part of the Customer Service Organization, reporting directly to the Sales Administration Manager. We believe that working on-site at our Redwood City, CA location, 5 days a week, fosters the best collaborative environment and growth opportunities for everyone.




The standard work hours for this critical role are 5:00am - 1:30pm PST. We support our life science clients around the globe regardless of time zone.




In our fast-paced work environment, we prioritize working with urgency and remain adaptable, ready to pivot as needed to meet the evolving demands and challenges we face.




In this role, you will have the opportunity to:




  • Review, prepare, process, reconcile, track quotations, proposals, e-commerce orders, purchase orders, and contract accuracy and compliance for instrument products.






  • Effectively address and respond to all customer inquiries and requests.




  • Maintain open orders report.

he essential requirements of the job include:




  • Requires the knowledge and skills normally acquired through successful completion of an Associate Arts (A.A) degree or equivalent experience.




  • 1+ years of customer service, order management and/or sales administration experience.




  • Experience with Saleforce.com, Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite are a plus.






It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:




  • Strong written communication skills to write business correspondence, document tasks and activities, and routine project reports.




  • Basic product line knowledge of both instruments and consumables.

The the hourly range for this role is $27 - $30. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.



This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
