The Enmarket District Manager will be responsible for the oversight of multi-unit gas stations and convenience stores. The selected candidate will be responsible for the development of their sites’ management teams, overall operations, and profitability for the assigned locations. The District Manager will lead by example by fostering a safe, friendly, fast, customer-centric and encouraging team culture and work environment, all the while providing his/her team with continuous education on the importance of quality customer service.
JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES
Take pride and ownership in the development of store-level Leadership to build a team that is engaged, consistent with our brand, and create a well-trained, well-rounded talent pipeline for succession planning.
Build and maintain professional and profitable business relationships with store-level Leadership to serve as a liaison and effectively be able to bridge the communication.
Ensure value for shareholders by conducting efficient operations and continuously seeking to improve profit margin.
Be a self-driven leader with a proven track record of delivering results by maximizing long-term sales growth.
Manage and create sustainable business relationships with suppliers to ensure maximum product and vendor productivity.
Create a team culture that is highly involved in the communities we serve.
Responsible for achieving and effectively communicating required P&L numbers for each Kiosk and convenience store within assigned district.
Utilize available reports and resources to identify opportunities, ensure that correct operational procedures are followed.
In depth knowledge of OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies to ensure compliance. Ability to conduct random inspections of convenience stores within assigned territory.
Enable and empower growth by providing constructive feedback to team, leading by example, and fostering a customer-driven sense of urgency.
Always demonstrate and communicate the importance of safety in the workplace for both employees and guests.
Set the example for recognition and actively work on inspiring the team.
Other duties and projects as needed or as assigned by leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Must have 3-5 years of experience leading multi-unit retail sites; Convenience store and Food Service experience preferred.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Must continuously demonstrate the ability to work well with others and provide excellent customer service to a wide variety of guests and employees.
Strong capabilities in using Microsoft Office Software; Word, Excel, and Outlook.
