Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Rep include but are not limited to:
Successfully selling projects that are profitable tons for the division.
Covering DSM role in territories without an active DSM or while DSMs are unavailable.
Generating project takeoffs and creating eQuote scopes from drawings, specifications, and engaging the builder.
Traveling with the DSMs to assist with builder recruitment, project meetings and box-by-box reviews.
Develop and maintain sales strategy and setting expectations with our builders to ensure equal business stature.
Multi-tasking between projects, scheduling, pricing, phone & email correspondence
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years' experience in Metal Building, Construction, or Construction related field or a graduate of the DDSM program.
Ability to interpret Architectural and Structural Drawings.
Willingness and ability to travel to builders' offices and job sites, possibly on short notice.
Required to have and keep a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Associates Degree or Bachelor's in Business, Construction, or Engineering related fields
