This position is at the Learning Research and Development Center (LRDC), a multi-disciplinary center for research to advance the science of learning by bringing together leading researchers in the cognitive, social, and educational sciences.
This position will support several ongoing research projects examining socioeconomic & racial/ethnic differences in opportunities for healthy growth and development across the life course. A strong background in studying individual differences in child and adolescent development with socioeconomically and racially/ethnically diverse samples is crucial. The Research Associate is expected to perform advanced statistical analyses of large complex longitudinal databases. Extensive experience independently analyzing complex data using fixed and random effects regression modeling, hierarchical linear modeling, as well as structural equation modeling frameworks is important. Familiarity with methods for analyzing geospatial data and data from ecological momentary assessments with an intensive repeated measures design is highly desirable.
A Doctorate Degree in psychology, education, or related social science discipline and at least five to ten years of experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience in a research setting is required. This position will require PA Child Protection Clearances.
