Pay Rate: $22.50/hr Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm with a required Saturday/Sunday rotation Location: 5550 W. 74th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268
As a Level 1 Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining powered equipment, conveyor systems, packaging systems (Shanklin wrappers), facility, and grounds with the goal of providing a safe, productive work environment for all team members, vendors, and visitors.

Deliver preventative and repair service to all assets of the facility, including conveyor systems, power equipment, industrial batteries, dock equipment (Pallet Stretch Wrappers), and racking systems.
Be responsible for equipment preventative maintenance (PM).
Model "Zero is Possible" safety behaviors by following all safety policies and procedures (i.e. Lock Out/Tag Out).
Diagnose, document, and repair any issues as soon as they are discovered, allowing the facility to continue operating, while keeping our team members, vendors, and visitors safe.
Assist skilled members of the Maintenance Team with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing malfunctions of equipment and machinery, when a solution is not immediately observed.
Communicate effectively with all levels of leadership, vendors, and team members.
Level 1 Maintenance Mechanic Job Skills -
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1+ years of previous distribution center or warehouse experience required
Proven ability to read diagrams, technical drawings, and repair instructions
Must be mechanically inclined. Hobbies or mechanical certifications would apply.
Working understanding of electrical, compressor, and conveyor systems, as well packaging systems and dock equipment preferred.
Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs to 60lbs throughout shift, stand 8 to 10 hours per work day, as well as consistently bend, reach, push, pull, and squat throughout shift.
Must be comfortable with computer applications, including Google Docs.
Must possess a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities.
