AttainX, Inc. is in search of a highly energetic Senior Database Administrator with strong communication skills and technical background to support our government client.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • MS SQL Server Experience 2016
    • 3+ years hands-on experience in Installing, Configuring, Managing, Monitoring, Troubleshooting, Upgrading and Migrating SQL Server 2016/2019
    • Capability/experience using SQL Profiler, Index Tuning Wizard, and Windows Performance Monitor for monitoring and tuning MS SQL Server performance
    • Experience monitoring Event Viewer, SQL Error logs and Log File Viewer for Software and hardware related errors.
  • Oracle 19c
    • 2+ years of experience working with Oracle 19c
    • 4+ years working with Oracle PL/SQL programming
    • 8+ years of tuning application queries in the Oracle environment
    • 8+ years translating business requirements into creation of Database Objects in the Oracle environment
    • 8+ years of experience writing complex SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Database Designs, creating Indexes, Functions, Triggers, & Sub Queries in the Oracle environment
  • 5 years’ experience installing, configuring, and maintaining dtSearch Engineer, dtDesktop, and dtIndexer

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience maintaining DHS, ICE, and other system security requirements, including compliance with all C&A requirements.
  • Strong experience managing Microsoft Internet Information servers, including installing and configuring web applications and integrating web applications (with databases).
  • Recent experience (within the last 2 years) working in a FISMA accredited High- High-Moderate environment.
  • Familiarity implementing technical solutions related to the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) & Export Control Reform Act (ECRA)

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for end-user account management, to include account creation, activation, deactivation, modification, and auditing in IRMPA applications
  • Resolution of application errors in all IRMPA applications
  • Installation, set up and maintenance of applications on multiple servers of the IRMPA applications
  • Database development and maintenance (in both SQL Server 2016/2019 and Oracle 19c)
  • Software development in an Agile Environment
  • Website development and maintenance
  • Template design and development
  • Knowledge to accurately depict and resolve solutions
