Job Summary: The Quality Manager oversees quality assurance and control, ensuring products meet regulatory and company standards, reporting directly to the Director of Quality
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain quality assurance programs.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (USDA, BRC, HACCP).
Conduct audits and inspections.
Lead and train the quality assurance team.
Investigate and resolve quality issues.
Collaborate with other departments to meet quality standards.
Maintain quality assurance records.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field preferred
5+ years in quality assurance/control in the food industry, preferably Beef or Pork processing.
Knowledge of food safety regulations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
