Responsibilities

Alteryx Administration:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the Alteryx Server and Designer environment used for financial workflows and automation.
  • Manage user permissions, licenses, and server performance to ensure optimal use of Alteryx tools within the Finance & Accounting department.
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to manage server security, updates, and ensure adherence to financial data governance policies.
  • Oversee the integration of Alteryx with other finance systems and data sources (e.g., ERP, general ledger, financial reporting tools).

Support:

  • Provide technical support for Alteryx users within the Finance & Accounting team, addressing workflow errors and performance issues.
  • Assist finance analysts in the development, troubleshooting, and deployment of Alteryx workflows to automate financial processes like budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Offer guidance on best practices for Alteryx tool usage and optimization for financial data analysis.
  • Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end users to improve their Alteryx skills.

Collaboration & Optimization:

  • Work closely with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to understand their data analysis and automation needs, providing tailored solutions via Alteryx.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial workflows and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and IT teams to implement system upgrades, address support issues, and explore new features.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of Alteryx workflows and server configurations specific to financial processes.
  • Monitor and report on the usage, performance, and effectiveness of Alteryx workflows in financial operations.
  • Track and manage support requests related to Alteryx through ticketing systems and ensure timely resolutions.


Qualifications



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Alteryx administration and support, particularly in finance-related environments.
  • Strong knowledge of financial data processes, including reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Alteryx workflows and server-related issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly within financial operations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with finance professionals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Alteryx Certification (Core, Advanced, or Server).
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g., ERP, SAP, Oracle) and databases (e.g., SQL Server).
  • Knowledge of financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with financial data governance and compliance requirements.
