Shift Supervisor - Chemical Industry




Location : Baton Rouge, Louisiana -




Local Candidates Preferred but will relocate from anywhere.




We're seeking a results-oriented Production Supervisor to lead our powder lines team. You'll oversee daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.




Requirements :




High School Diploma or equivalent




5+ years of production experience, preferably in powder processing, or chemical manufacturing.




Proven leadership and problem-solving skills




Strong communication and interpersonal abilities




Proficiency in safety protocols and procedures




Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays




Key Responsibilities:




Safety Leadership: Champion safety initiatives, enforce regulations, and investigate incidents to maintain a secure work environment.




Team Development: Build and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.




Process Optimization: Partner with technical teams to streamline processes, troubleshoot equipment, and implement cost-effective solutions.




Quality Assurance: Guarantee product quality by enforcing strict standards and customer specifications.




Operational Efficiency: Optimize labor costs and schedules to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.




Maintenance Oversight: Manage preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
