MANDEX Government Property Administrator/LOG 3

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Government Property Administrator to join the MANDEX team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of government property management. This role requires a combination of strong leadership skills, logistical expertise, and a thorough understanding of government property administration. The Government Property Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day tracking of government property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing inventory database input, preparing GFP records in accordance with applicable rules and regulations and conducting compliance audits and self-assessments.
  • Utilizing computer-based inventory and bar-coding system for entry, id and tracking of materials.
  • Providing real-time material status reports and related logistics functions.
  • Preparing operational management/user documents/reports.
  • Assisting receiving officer in validation of distributor delivery commitments.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing logistics and procurement activities, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in logistics support, preferably in a government contracting environment with at least 1 year of experience in government property management.
  • Familiarity with use of the GFP module of the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of logistics principles, practices, and processes, with experience in defense life-cycle logistics support.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing logistics and procurement activities, including FAR and DoD procurement policies.
  • Logistics certification (e.g., DAU) preferred.
