About the Role
Essity’s Health and Medical team is looking for an experienced Strategic Account Manager - Non-Acute. In this role, you will be responsible for implementation of sales plans for major national accounts or key market segments. Develops and implements plans for establishing and managing accounts. Reviews and evaluates sales and related data and initiates actions necessary to achieve sales plans and promotions objectives. Represents Company in sales calls and negotiations with key accounts. Responsible for developing and maintaining effective customer relations within assigned accounts. Coordinates targeting, sales calls, and account strategies with respect to the Territory Managers, Regional Managers, and Supervisors.
This will be a remote position. The ideal candidate should live near a major US international airport and able to travel often within the aligned Essity Regional structure.

What You Will Do
Responsible for implementation of sales plans for major national accounts or key market segments to meet or exceed objectives for sales, market share, and distribution. Develops and implements business plans consistent with overall marketing strategies and established promotion and expense budgets.
Manages and develops accounts and establishes plans for new market opportunities. Develops annual business plans which reflect brand and category strategies ensuring consistency with overall marketing plans and business needs.
Responsible for development and management of key accounts. In doing so, establishes customer relationship, represents Company in sales, prepares and conducts formal sales presentations, completes follow up correspondence and contacts with customers, and so forth.
Reviews and evaluates various data and information such as gross margins, competitive activity, account feedback, and so forth in order to ensure sales plans and promotions are effectively implemented, devise appropriate corrective actions, and contribute to development of effective and efficient sales plans.
Maintains variety of contacts within Company to gather and exchange information related to sales goals and results, product availability and pricing, marketing strategies and plans, status of orders, and so forth.
Remains cognizant of significant trends and developments in field by monitoring competitor activities and products, trade magazines and associations, and feedback from customers. Regularly informs management of relevant developments, and disseminates related materials.
Assists in special sales projects/promotions as requested.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field. Master's degree is preferred.
Approximately ten (10) years progressively more responsible, related sales experience in order to develop and evaluate sales plans.
Knowledge of sales, business plans, and business development strategies.
Demonstrated success in higher level selling activities.
Organizational and analytical abilities necessary to oversee and organize major accounts and to gather and evaluate sales data.
High level communications skills necessary to represent Company to key accounts, negotiate sales, and provide effective leadership and motivation to others.
Collaboration and assisting in creating a unified team selling environment.
