Job Description:

The Manhattan Active Implementation Specialist is a servant leader with strong technical background, responsible for designing and supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products that meet customer needs. Works closely with NAM Business Team and collaborates with a wide range of people to understand customer needs and solution context and develop technical product vision, roadmap, capabilities, and features required to meet these needs.

Areas of responsibility


  • Senior project leader responsible for overall success of multiple software system integration projects including multiple product implementations of over $1 million revenue from inception to installation to include managing project scope, design, budget, resources, deliverables, issue escalation and resolution.

  • Strong experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management system and TM solution

  • Direct experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, and distribution

  • Knowledge of Manhattan system configuration, workflow, and integration with other supply chain systems

  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

  • Familiarity with warehouse automation technologies and their integration into the MAWM system

  • Experience in business requirement gathering, system design, and implementation of MAWM.

  • Functional understanding of SAP ERP system

  • Effective communication skills for interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Responsibilities

  • This role involves managing and optimizing warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfilment, and distribution processes, by leveraging the Manhattan Active platform.

  • Implement and configure Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) solutions based on business requirements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document warehouse and supply chain requirements.

  • Optimize and automate warehouse processes, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and distribution.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Manhattan Active WM implementations.

  • Conduct system testing, user training, and documentation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery and post-implementation support.


Key understanding of Manhattan WM and TM Integrated solution and industry leading practices in GSC domain
  • Solid 8+ years of experience implementing Manhattan WM and TM solution in the industry.
  • Subject matter expert with supply chain processes for warehousing, distribution and transportation

  • Should have knowledge of WM 2018 and above.

  • Led and Completed 5+ full lifecycle Manhattan on premise implementations of warehouse Manhattan for a high-volume distribution center.

  • Completion of 1+ full lifecycle Manhattan Active implementations of warehouse Manhattan for a high-volume distribution center

  • Completion of 1+ full lifecycle Manhattan Active implementation of Transport management

  • Subject matter expert with supply chain processes for transportation management

Delivery Skills:


  • Excellent analytical and strong critical thinking skills, able to logically break down a problem into smaller manageable parts to solve.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Ability to interact with SME's and other project team members in a project setting.

  • Successful teamwork experience (collaborating on group/team projects)

  • Shows dedication, discipline, commitment, Grit.

  • Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements.

  • Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies.

  • Time management skills are necessary; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative.

  • A strong record of educational success - references will be a plus.

  • Ability to facilitate requirement gathering sessions with large audience and HR solutions.

  • Excellent leadership and management skills.

  • Experience managing offshore / onshore teams.

  • Ability to travel, 30% Travel to Distribution centers.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required - Master's degree preferred.
