Description: Our client is currently seeking a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR in IN.
You responsibilities include;
- Inspecting facilities: Identifying potential issues and the maintenance required
- Developing schedules: Preparing weekly maintenance schedules and allocating staff support to each task
- Recruiting and training: Recruiting, training, and supervising maintenance technicians and mechanics
- Overseeing maintenance: Overseeing repairs and maintenance to ensure accurate and timely completion
- Ensuring compliance: Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Communicating: Communicating information from senior management, such as policies and procedures, to maintenance staff
- Promoting safety: Actively promoting plant safety improvement and programs
- Supporting continuous improvement: Supporting continuous improvement through shop floor use of problem solving tools and Kaizen participation
- Managing purchasing: Managing purchasing, as authorized, to meet budget
