Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct site safety, health, and environment quality audits
Inspect site activities for safety compliance
Manage on-site corrective actions
Share findings with supervision for follow up
Intervene at-risk activities
Provide on-site review and training if needed
Provide consultation as needed
Assist with incident reporting and root cause initiatives (injury/illness, property damage, etc.)
Assist with reporting process
Collect and verify incident reports
Assist with the IA process and report
Participate in industry conferences, programs, initiatives, etc.
Provide safety training on company procedures and regulatory compliance
Actively participate in self-development and growth
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental safety, or related field
2+ years of experience in construction safety or related field
Knowledge of OSHA standards, regulations, and construction site safety procedure
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks
Pro-active with ability to work independently and take initiative
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work efficiently with a diverse team
Certification in safety management (e.g., OSHA 30 Construction, CSP, CHST) is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software
