This position reports to Sr Director, Portfolio & Operations Lead and is based in Skillman, NJ (Summit, NJ in Feb 2025).

Role reports to: Sr Director, Portfolio & Operations Lead

Location: Skillman, NJ (Summit, NJ in future)

Travel %: 10

Pay: $152,00-$205,000

What you will do

This Sr Portfolio Manager is a key role within our Kenvue Tech & Data (KTD) organization, responsible for maximizing the value returned to Kenvue through its investments and operations in technology and data. This role will be a key member of the Tech & Data Portfolio & Operations leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor industry trends and shape Kenvue's strategic investments in technology and data for the Tech & Data organization

• Actively drive and lead the business case, discovery, solution design and execution of new processes and technology enablers for the Tech & Data organization, to mature ways of working in areas such as financial management, strategic portfolio management, roadmapping, and resource management

• Inspect, adapt, and pivot changes to ways of working as necessary to ensure value is maximized and outcomes are tracked and realized

• Drive lean and healthy portfolio processes, including investment council ceremonies to align prioritization of investments across Tech & Data Functions, and the mobilization, approval and execution of investments

• Drive financial compliance and controls in business plans, budget creation, and actuals by ensuring financial accuracy, rigor, and upskilling of the KTD organization

• Lead change management, training, and adoption of processes and tools with KTD partners to support the transformation of our ways of working across KTD functions

• Play a leadership role on the Portfolio & Operations team by sharing best practices and learnings, and partnering with other Portfolio leads to drive consistency, standards, and optimization across all KTD functions

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Strategic orientation and broad application of technology and data to drive differentiation

• Exceptional planning skills

• Strong understanding of Strategic Portfolio Management best practices, tools, and capabilities needed for a global Tech & Data organization

• Strong understanding of financial valuation and key financial processes especially capitalization and depreciation of assets

• Strong partnership and influence skills

• Understanding of product vs project management and the appropriate application of both within a portfolio

• Broad understanding of how IT works as a business (ie. business partnering, product management, agile software delivery, and service management)

• Strong financial acumen: advanced understanding of financial processes and schedules and basic accounting principles

• Process optimization and automation; a propensity to automate manual processes

• Strong data and analytics skills

• Exceptional collaboration skills to partner with Sr Director and VP-level leaders in KTD

Desired Qualifications

• MBA preferred

• 10-15 years of progressive experience in Technology-related roles

• Prior experience in a Portfolio role

• Highly skilled in Excel, working with pivots and building dashboards and visuals

• Experience leading the implementation of technology products & new processes

• Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $152,00-$205,000.This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
