Your Role :
This position will support a wide array of geospatially-enabled analytical efforts for national, regional, and local level projects. Candidates will have strong competencies and demonstrated experience developing and implementing geospatially enabled software and services used to conduct analyses and deliver client facing geospatial products. This includes development of a wide variety of geospatial applications both, enterprise on-premise and cloud implementations, on mobile, web and desktop platforms. Candidates will have strong skills with proficiency in a range of important tools such as ESRI ArcGIS technologies (including ArcGIS Server and ArcSDE Java Script ArcGIS Online applications and dashboarding), and MS SQL Server.
This position will mostly focus on advanced GIS development, analyses and production efforts in support of the Tetra Tech disaster recovery (TDR) operation based in the Maitland, FL office. Typical responsibilities are to work on application development projects for our federal, state and local clients.
• Implementation of GIS initiatives, primarily software implementation and training, applications, work-flow integration, spatial analysis, GPS data collection coordination, UAV program activities, and GIS maintenance.
• Experience managing versioned ArcSDE editing required.
• Perform analysis on GIS datasets for NEPA hazards.
• Checking for technical accuracy of GIS and geospatial deliverables and associated reports.
• Coordinating with the project team, project managers, clients, local communities, and other contractors to compile all data necessary to produce the most up-to-date product.
• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
• Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
• Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
• Additional duties as required.
Qualifications :
Must have experience that demonstrates a strong background in application of GIS and skills to design and develop efficient solutions. The candidate should have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work independently and as a team player.
• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field.
• 10 years of experience in the GIS Field.
• In-depth knowledge of ESRI's software, including ArcGIS 10x.
• Strong MS Excel and MS Access skills to leverage various data sources for use in GIS projects.
• Experience / knowledge in geospatial programming using Python, JavaScript and Microsoft C#.
• Experience developing for the ESRI platform (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcObjects, ArcSDE, Arc Engine).

• Ability to effectively multiple sometime conflicting priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
