Our legal client located in Boston's Seaport is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant with expertise in High Net Worth Individuals, Private Client Trusts, and Estates. The role involves joining a growing team, reporting to the Director, and providing support to junior staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required
7+ years' experience tax preparation required
Previous experience working with High Net Worth Individuals, Private Client Trust, fiduciary, charitable, partnership required
Prior tax accounting experience in a mid-size or larger professional industry work environment is preferred.
Experience ProSystem-fx and Onesource Trust Tax required
Advanced knowledge of applicable tax codes and code changes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares timely filed fiduciary, gift tax, foundation, partnership, and personal tax returns with an emphasis on more complex tax returns and problem resolution.
Works closely with the Director, and provides back up if they are out and supports the Junior staff as needed. in both a supportive and collaborative process.
Communicates directly with the clients of the department, and will review the tax preparation work of other Tax accountants.
Provides expert tax advice to the Director, to the other Tax Accountants, and/or to the clients of the department.
