What will you do?
Responsible for leadership of Senior Account Managers, Account Mangers, and administrative support staff
Provide technical accounting and regulatory guidance to staff
Responsible for quality control, whether through direct review of staff work, or implementation of peer-review processes
Responsible for assigning workload and clients to staff
Responsible for Client Financial Statement production and review and ensuring timely delivery
Responsible for Compliance filings and ensuring client and regulatory deadlines met - this includes Premium Tax Filings, Audit, Actuarial, Annual Reports, NAIC and State filings and other required reports.
Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
Responsible for ensuring client profitability, recommending pricing adjustments based on scope of work
Embody a strong commitment to service excellence, emulate behaviors to coach and train employees to fully embrace.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus (Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or MBA).
Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
3-5+ years' experience, including 2+ at a leadership level
2+ years of captive industry experience
Breadth and depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department; may be acquiring knowledge of other related areas of Captive Insurance
Developing and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs
Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
Has full authority for personnel actions
Extensive knowledge of department processes
Contributes to the development of vision and strategy
Works with other leaders to develop a common departmental vision or strategy
Adapts area/departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems
Adjusts quickly to new or changing work environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Applies management expertise to set direction, resolve problems and provide guidance to employees in own area of responsibility or department
Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning resources; may manage allocated budget
Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and department or business plan; receives guidance from manager

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $84,160.00 - $122,030.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
