Hays Facilities Management are partnered with a prestigious museum in Manhattan to hire a Head of Engineering & Facilities.
Your new role
The job duties for the Head of Engineering & Facilities will include, among others:
Execution of strategy and preventive maintenance functions for building engineering
Creating SOP's, standards and initiatives in support of a new facility/equipment
Management of Building Engineering team
Oversight of vendors, capex projects and overall facility infrastructure
Will manage and promote facility staff
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:
Strong experience in Facilities Engineering supporting high-end institutions
Technical expertise in HVAC, MEP, Fire systems and other automated controls
Knowledge of NYC regulations, codes and laws related to building operations
Strong gravitas and ability to speak to multiple stakeholders across the wider organization
