Position Description



The HRIT Workday Integration Delivery Manager - will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of integrations between Workday and other systems. This role will involve managing a team of integration specialists, collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders, and ensuring that integration projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.



Responsibilities



  • Ensure that all integration deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.


  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.


  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.


  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.


  • Communicate project status, progress, and any changes to stakeholders.


  • This position will be about 60 - 70% people management and 40 - 30% hands-on technical work


  • Stay updated on Workday product releases, enhancements, and industry best practices.




Project Management:


  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects.


  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.


  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.


  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.




Stakeholder Management:


  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives. -


  • Act as the point of contact for all project-related matters. Conduct regular Support meetings with all stakeholders.


Team Leadership:

  • Manage support teams, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clear. Provide direction and support to the project team.


  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.


Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate application support risks.


  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.


  • Monitor and control application support risks and issues.


Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all deliverables meet McKesson's quality standards.


  • Conduct regular quality assurance reviews.


Budget Management:

  • Manage project budgets and resource allocation.


  • Track operating costs and ensure budget adherence.


Communication:

  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.


  • Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements.


  • Implement best practices and methodologies to enhance project delivery.


  • Provide guidance and support vendor resources responsible for system maintenance and production issue resolution.


  • Ensure that processes, enhancements, and changes are well documented. Help to build a document repository.


  • Collaborate with the managers of other areas to create long-term plans that align with corporate strategy.





Minimum Requirements



Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of management experience.



Critical Skills





  • 5+ years of experience leading the planning, execution, and delivery of Workday integration projects.


  • Experience managing a team of Workday integration specialists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.


  • Experience collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to understand integration requirements and design effective solutions.


  • Experience developing and maintaining integration architecture, ensuring scalability and performance.


  • Must have experience managing Workday technical team members.


  • Demonstrate clear knowledge of HR data flow across enterprise IT architecture including OKTA, AD, Azure, financial, Sourcing, T&E system, ServiceDesk, and external vendor systems such as ADP.





Additional Experience



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • Workday Integration Certification


  • Experience in developing cross-functional standards in applications/systems and operational processes.


  • Experience in providing technical mentorship and guidance to application teams.


  • Proven track records in documenting business requirements and translating the requirements into technical specification.





Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position



$111,900 - $186,500
