Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
This position contributes to Epiq’s success through the design, development, deployment, monitoring and alerting of security services. Success for the role will be by contributing to the delivery of a world class cybersecurity program that is positioned to address, contain, and drive successful resolution to any cybersecurity situation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain scalable, resilient cybersecurity services.
Ability to automate tasks and interact with APIs using common scripting languages.
Develop and execute comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, within Azure, to safeguard our organization and client data from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Monitor security logs and alerts from various sources, including antivirus software and logging tools, to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on security-related matters to stakeholders, including developers, system administrators, and IT teams.
Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, industry trends, and best practices, and proactively recommend improvements to existing security measures.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
6+ years of experience working in an information technology discipline.
4+ years of infrastructure / information security experience.
Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, a deep technical understanding of modern cybersecurity threats and relevant protections against them.
Have a demonstrable track record of a hands-on approach to maturing capabilities in highly targeted environments at scale.
Certifications such as CISSP, AZ-500, MS-500 or others focused on cybersecurity, data privacy or information risk management.
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and experience with automation tools for security-related tasks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and act tactically in a fast-paced environment.
Experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting cybersecurity tools in enterprise environments.
