Core Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment:
Team up with physicians to assess and continually evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans related to speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing.
Collaborate with patients and families to establish realistic care plans.
Treatment Planning and Care Provision:
Implement customized treatment plans and choose engaging activities to help patients reach their goals.
Revise goals with input from patients and families, ensuring ongoing education and support.
Provide discharge instructions and connect patients with community resources as needed.
Documentation:
Maintain clear documentation of evaluations and treatment plans according to departmental guidelines.
Record each session accurately and complete all required paperwork promptly.

Required Qualifications:
Education:
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program required.
Licenses/Certifications:
Speech Language Pathologist license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years as a Speech Language Pathologist.
