Performs duties to train, audit, and retrain operators on company procedures that will improve our value added manufacturing processes with the ultimate goal of achieving best in class quality, delivery and service to our customers at the lowest possible cost.
Primary Responsibilities:
Critically observes production activities, learns the process flow, and helps develop documented procedures to fully structure the observed activities
Trains and retrains operators on standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Gathers and reports on feedback from operators on recommended modifications or updates for SOPs
Audits trained operators on SOPs to ensure compliance and consistency
Supports employee participation and adherence to food safety and employee safety programs and policies
Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Able to effectively communicate (speak, read, write) in English and Spanish
Demonstrated ability to coach and train
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up 30 to 50 pounds occasionally
Able to tolerate extreme cold temperatures for several hours per day
Walking or standing between 4-8 hours per day
