What you'll do:
Install, configure, and provide maintenance for network equipment including routers, switches, SD WAN, Wireless AP and Controllers, and Firewalls
Design and implement network solutions
Monitor network performance and troubleshooting to improve network optimization
Interface with vendors including Verizon, ATT, Spectrum, and Lumens
Create and implement network security measures by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access
IP address auditing
Switch port configurational support including segmented LAN (VLAN) and Voice
Provide secure connectivity between Internet and internal network utilizing firewalls
Coordination of cable installation
Weekly 24 hour on call rotation
May assist with administering video conferencing systems and presentation tools
Work with the various IT teams and plant staff to accomplish tasks and departmental goals
What you need to have:
Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computers, or related field experience
5+ plus years of relevant experience with demonstrable experience with Cisco Switches, static and dynamic routing, and wireless as well as familiarity with communication and routing protocols
Ability to create ACLs, TCP/IP subnetting, and VLAN trunking
Knowledge of Quality of Service or QoS, WAN, optical technologies, Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, Cisco Switches, Palo Alto NextGen Firewalls, and knowledge familiarity with network monitoring solutions such as Solarwinds, PRTG, or ManageEngine
Work independently or collectively with a team
