Your Role:
The Operations Specialist is responsible for conducting detailed investigations of customer-returned products. This includes tasks such as extracting analytical samples from returned containers, resolving container usage issues, and addressing various customer complaints as needed. The role involves overseeing specific operational areas, identifying inefficiencies, mentoring junior team members, and managing customer complaints by developing corrective and preventive actions. The specialist will also revise documentation and actively contribute to site-wide and company-wide initiatives.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Train and assist with development of personnel
Monitor processes and equipment to identify opportunities for improvement
Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve issues and exploit opportunities
Assist with data generation/gathering to identify trends and areas for improvement
Develop procedures and work instructions as required and train others on the revisions when approved
Conduct root cause analysis on customer complaints and assist with written response
Assist with developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions for safety, quality, and customer complaint issues
Submit document changes utilizing the Management of Change (MOC) process
Physical Attributes:
Wear a full-face air-purifying respirator and other PPE
Lift up to 50 pounds
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience handling chemicals
Knowledge of 8D Methodology
Strong written communication skills
Previous experience with root cause analysis tools and processes
Effective troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets and written work instructions
Proficient using Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Ability to use hand tools
