RGM Category Manager, Treats

Franklin, TN

The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Category Manager, Treats reports to the RGM Category Team Lead serving as a key business partner and revenue & profitability expert for the local unit. This position drives the strategic development & execution of pricing, optimized portfolio, product and retailer mix to drive profitable growth for the enterprise. As leader of the pricing and mix management practice, they are responsible for both strategic framework development and deployment into the marketplace to ensure flawless execution in the marketplace.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's Degree


• 5+ years' experience in Category, SRM, Sales Account Management, etc. and/or internship in related field


• Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG)


• Experience demonstrating advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities in a cross-functional team environment


• Strong Excel skillset for data manipulation/analysis, and making appropriate recommendations


• Effective communication and collaboration skills

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Manage Treats category pricing


• Lead development of shelf back pricing architecture and strategy for Dog and Cat brands


• Develop long term vision for omni channel trade, pricing, and promotional architecture


• Manage key stakeholder groups throughout the organization to align with RGM agenda


• Co-pilot development of customer mix strategy with sales leadership


• Create and manage the US pet nutrition SKU assortment architecture


• Lead annual RGM category reviews with business management teams to surface opportunities across price, products and mix for the enterprise


• Develop annual price and investment strategy to maximize enterprise profitability


• Product owner for digital RGM toolkit responsible for maintenance and enhancement of tools leveraged across broader RGM team


• Leverage advanced analytics to drive step change in US pet nutrition portfolio innovation and advance the RGM digital toolkit
