Job Summary:

ARV product support management, in establishing best practices for executing lifecycle sustainment programs for military combat and tactical vehicle systems, is looking to fill the position of Maintainability Engineer. Candidate will support planning of system life cycle sustainment, ensuring the integration of readiness and cost considerations into the implementation, management, and oversight activities associated with the acquisition, development, production, fielding, support, and disposal of a combat vehicle across its life cycle.

We are looking for a Maintainability Engineer to work for our Troy, MI office. POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Essential Functions:

  • Perform engineering design analysis for maintainability/supportability.
  • Perform Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Analysis
  • Performing Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and developing product support data including Maintenance Concept, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Maintenance Technical Data, Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC), and associated Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) reports.
  • Military System life cycle sustainment planning
  • Logistics Support Analysis Record development, delivery of integrated product support data to USG customers in accordance with Military and Industry Standards and Regulations, including SAE-GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-STD-1388-2B, AR 700-18, AR 700-82, AR 700-127, AR 750-1, Mil-STD-40051, MIL-HDBK-1222, SAE TA-STD-0017

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • N/A

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (as demonstrated through experience, training and/or testing)

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Expert understanding of defense industry logistics support analysis and logistics management information data and how this data supports DoD contractual requirements for Integrated Product Support (IPS).
  • Familiarity with defense system technical manual development and how LSA and LMI data is utilized for technical manual development.
  • Working knowledge of defense acquisition and supply support/supply chain management
  • Fundamental knowledge of logistics support analysis, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA).
  • Working knowledge of DoD system design tools and technical data package development

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

Experience (5 years):

  • DoD System design analysis for maintainability/supportability.
  • DoD System Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and planning
  • DoD System Product Support/ILS Data development experience

Background Prerequisites:

  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DAU Lifecycle Logistics Certification
  • Working knowledge of configuration management processes as part of the product life cycle.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems such as Teamcenter.
  • Qualified 6 Sigma specialist
  • Proven multi-disciplinary technical skills to engage personnel across stakeholder teams.
