Vice President of Sales
Position Summary:
Legacy Senior Living, a senior living company based in Cleveland, TN is looking for an experienced senior living Director of Sales & Marketing to lead Legacy and Dominion Senior Living. This VP of Sales will be responsible to provide strategic leadership for planning, directing and supporting of all facility sales and marketing teams. This position will oversee the management and performance including accountability for the sales andmarketing teams, census targets, sales and marketing training, market analysis, budget planning, and community relations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop Sales Teams at the Community Level and work with these teams to achieve census targetsBuild strong relationships with Executive DirectorsAssist in the hiring and performance management of community sales peopleTrain and coach community teams in meeting the standards for inside and outside salesProvide training in sales and marketing classroom/field training and coaching to all key personnelTake a hands-on approach to community site visits with modeling of tours, sales calls, inquiries and follow upCommunicate clear expectations for sales performanceResearch and complete market analysis for each community and develop a functional, measurable plan to impact occupancyAssist in developing a sales strategy based on an understanding of the marketAssist operations in the annual budget process
Qualifications
Positive track record of success in senior living sales and marketingBachelors or post graduate degree preferred in Marketing, Business, Communications or related fieldMinimum five (5) years sales and marketing experience within a long term care communityMinimum two (2) years multi-site or regional management experience within the senior living industryThe ability to travel up to 80% of the timeProven ability to conduct a strategic market analysis at the community and regional levelDemonstrated ability to train, coach and mentor Sales ProfessionalsDynamic, energetic personality with the ability to motivate othersStrong communications, planning and organizational skillsExcellent ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize activitiesValid drivers licensePosition is based in Chattanooga/Cleveland, Tennessee
