SUMMARY: This position requires proficiency in the following areas; Human machine interfaces, network infrastructure, process control, general electrical and mechanical knowledge: read and interpret electrical schematics, complex electrical wiring diagrams, building blueprints and Piping & instrument drawings; read and interpret various measuring devices including Multimeter, gauges and calipers. Tasks include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and reaching. Since this position works both inside and outside in the seasonal weather, this position can work in a hot, humid environment or cold, damp environment and slippery surfaces.
This is an 'B' shift position - 4 PM - 12:30 AM - Days off are Tuesday/Wednesday
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Training beyond high school including either an Associate (A.S.) degree in Electronics Technology (or closely related technical field), or a combination of education and experience which may include skilled trades programs or military training. Experience: 2+ years of experience in a related field; industrial maintenance or automation experience preferred; some experience in electrical and mechanical required. Computer Skills: High level of computer skills (beyond basic users); must have strong skills in document organization, the use of technical materials, and research techniques. Must either be proficient or become proficient in SAP Maintenance. Communication Skills: Must communicate effectively both written and verbal with plant department heads in a professional manner and take an active role in plant maintenance technically, electrically, and mechanically. This position will also require the active involvement as a hazmat team. Travel: As needed.
