Intensive In-Home services provides for individual sessions addressing relationship issues within the family and may also be comprised of parenting education and facilitation of family meetings. All services will be delivered in the context of the family home environment.
Essential Functions:
Ethics: a.) Provides direct care intervention services to clients in accordance with acceptable ethical principles and practices within the fields of Behavioral Health.
Relations with Employee, Client, & Community Partners: a.) Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with the client, and as clinically indicated the family, by establishing an environment conducive for growth and exploration of family functioning and enrichment within the home setting. b.) Provides appropriate and effective therapeutic interventions, as demonstrated by advanced clinical knowledge. c.) Facilitates training and/ or participates in community events. d.) Treats clients with dignity and respect e.) Interacts with employees and community partners in a professional and respectful manner, and is an advocate for clients through and with these interactions.
Consults with other therapists, physicians, and management regarding clients as needed: a.) Participates in staffings (minimum of 2 hours/month). b.) Remains current on requirements for cases staffed with 90% accuracy as observed by management and client survey.
Documentation: a.) Performs a needs assessment to identify client/family strengths and deficits to include psycho-social needs. b.) Ensures all documentation regarding the treatment services provided is documented in accordance with professional, ethical standards and principles and in conjunction with policies and procedures in this area. c.) Adheres to the applicable core functions- medical records, deficiency lists, caseloads, and case reviews have 90-95% compliance rate
Professional Development: a.) Completes annual trainings per training profile requirements for position as maintained by the HR/Training Department b.) Ensures required continuing education and licensing requirements are met as required by state boards of the respective disciplines of the Agency. 100% accuracy required and determined by submission of attendance and recertification documentation. c.) Receives clinical supervision as required by Professional Board of State and per Organization’s policy.
Safety: Maintains a safe work environment as evidenced by: a.) Acts in accordance with safety rules as part of clinical practice: i. Sets up office in a safe manner. ii. Makes others aware of difficult clients/sessions. iii. Reports unsafe conditions to management. b.) Keeps clients safe: i. Follows company protocol and practices. ii. Reports incidents to DCBS or appropriate entity as required.
Assists in all emergency situations as needed to ensure quality care to all clients in crisis. 95% accuracy required as determined by management.
Fosters collaborative working relationships among members of the leadership and management teams and programs.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a human services related field
3 years' experience working in a clinically-supervised setting
Plans to have a license to practice mental health counseling, or other human services related license, within the next 3 years.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
OR
Master's degree in a human services related field
1 year working in a clinically-supervised setting with clients who have behavioral health needs
Plans to have a license to practice mental health counseling, or other human services related license, within the next 3 years.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

LICENSURE/ CERTIFICATION:
Certification and or licensure as required by the state board of the appropriate discipline to provide clinical services.
