Job Description Summary

This position is based in the Penn Frontotemporal Degeneration Center, part of the Department of Neurology of the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine. The purpose of this position is to coordinate study activities in patients with early-onset neurodegenerative conditions such as frontotemporal degeneration, primary progressive aphasia, and associated neurodegenerative diseases. The job functions include: Source documentation generation in study startup; Contacting patients and caregivers to schedule research visits, Tracking enrollment progress; Organizing and coordinating research visits; Run the study visit (cognitive testing, MRI, PET) per protocol; Maintain records of monthly/yearly progress reports, protocols and ICFs tracking and version control in shared drive, Maintain source documentation of study activities, including essential document and correspondence; Invoice study activities, Perform subject reimbursement according to study protocol and verify accuracy; Perform data entry; Performing preliminary cognitive or imaging analyses if applicable.


Additional responsibilities for the B level position include indirect supervision and training of junior CRCs on the team in collaboration with project manager and PIs. This position will also involve tracking patient recruitment and data uploads for centralized databases (INDD, NACC) and specialized regulatory preparations for PET studies under IND. This position will also work directly with PIs and project managers to help prioritize scheduling of observational protocol research activities to maximize retention and longitudinal follow up for MRI/PET studies.

Hiring range minimum for this position is $44,947.



Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.



Position contingent upon funding.



Qualifications

• CRC-A: Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Some imaging experience is preferred.


• CRC-B: Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
