Seeking a postdoc with the focus on the development and application of computational methods for drug discovery, including AI-assisted design of targeted DELs. The postdoc will provide a major contribution to collaborative translational projects in the Center for Integrative Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery (CICBDD).
Ph.D. in physical/computational chemistry or related quantitative field (e.g., physics, mathematics, computer science) and 2+ years of post-doctoral academic experience.
- Advanced knowledge of modern statistical modeling and machine learning methods.
- Ability to prototype models in Python/C++, preferably, and communicate scientific results orally and in print.
- Experience in physics, thermodynamics, molecular simulations, chemoinformatics and general molecular modeling will be highly appreciated.
- Expected to have a broad interest in biomedical sciences and drug discovery.
- Additional specific skills include simulation and modeling software (Gromacs, NAMD, Shrodinger suite), programming (other than C++ or Python).
Knowledge and skills in data processing and curation, structure-based approaches would be a significant advantage.
