Responsibilities:
Operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Provide maintenance and technical support for products, integrated systems, and software at customer or field locations.
Analyze product performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Install, upgrade, and remove products, coordinating engineering field changes as needed.
Perform depot-level repairs and refurbishments on specific components, including electrical rework of cable harnesses, wires, and circuit card assemblies.
Utilize test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multi-meters, network analyzers, waveform generators) to conduct fault isolation and repairs.
Follow engineering drawings, schematics, Repair Component Procedures (RCPs), and other technical documents for repairs and modifications.
Document work using automated maintenance data systems in accordance with established procedures.
Conduct tests and checks on mechanical, electrical, structural, and hydraulic subsystems.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent with additional technical training.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in relevant maintenance tasks.
Technical Skills:
Experience with Government property control policies.
Proficiency in safety-wiring assemblies and connectors.
Experience with soldering and cable/harness repair.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
Physical Requirement: Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
