RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a SCCM Administrator in San Antonio, TX.

Summary:
The SCCM Administrator guides and supports the packaging and deployment of enterprise applications using MECM/SCCM, Intune, and PowerShell. This role also manages software implementation within VMware and Citrix environments, ensuring compliance and secure deployment with minimal user impact.

Key Responsibilities:


  • SCCM Administrator will manage daily operations of configuration management platforms

  • Evaluate and create application packages with detailed logs

  • Develop monitoring and reporting for endpoint health and compliance

  • Maintain client hardware standards and test new technology

  • Act as an escalation point for IT support teams

  • Administer software deployment through Intune and MECM/SCCM

  • Manage virtual software deployment via VMware Horizon and Citrix

  • Implement client security models and best practices

  • Identify and deploy technical solutions for process improvements

  • As a SCCM Administrator, you will manage transition plans for upgrades or patches

  • Diagnose and resolve complex systemic issues

  • Administer Group Policy and FSLogix settings







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Extensive experience with MECM/SCCM

  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting

  • Experience with Group Policy Objects (GPOs)

  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills

  • Team player with a positive attitude

  • Passion for exceptional customer service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Device Enrollment Management

  • Knowledge of FSLogix

  • Familiarity with Citrix Application Presentation

  • Experience with AppVolume Manager

  • Proficiency with Windows 10 and 11 on Horizon View

  • Experience with Horizon View VDI rollout and support






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
