Job Description:

In support of the JPM CBRN customer, we are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with experience in supporting managing and conducting systems engineering process analyses, review, and submission of feedback to other systems engineer by providing input to the Chief Engineer, Deputy, Program Managers and senior leadership.

The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Identify and define systems engineer tests
  • Assist Chief Engineer and Deputy in managing and monitoring systems engineer test coverage
  • Evaluate and review other systems engineer submissions overall quality experienced and be prepared to brief at any level of leadership
  • Specify what the required systems engineer test data is, and review other submitted test data as a check and balance
  • Evaluate the outcome of systems engineer testing conducted in each test cycle
  • Provide feedback and input to program functional IPTs, IPRs, milestone decisions, and required program updates
  • Lead program-level IPTs for systems engineering, risk management, and configuration management.
  • Translate program requirements into language for a PSpec, SOW, and associated CDRLs for material solution solicitations and update them as necessary.
  • Review and approve all other program requirements submissions that translate language for a PSpec, SOW, and associated CDRLs for material solution solicitations and provide input to the supporting engineers.
  • Develop and review risk mitigation plans for all programs and identify and assess the effectiveness of those plans.
  • Develop and maintain all systems engineering documentation [e.g., Systems Evaluation Plan (SEP), Configuration Management Plan (CMP), Risk Management Plan (RMP), etc.) in support of the Chief Engineer and Deputy.
  • Mentor newly assigned systems engineers to acclimate them to the systems working environment.
  • Provide or develop systems engineering input into program documentation, as well as review and provide feedback to other engineer submitted documentation [e.g., Life Cycle Cost Estimate (LCCE), Life Cycle Management Plan (LCMP), Test and Evaluation Management Plan (TEMP), Test and Evaluation Strategy (TES), etc.)]
  • Respond to systems engineering inquiries and taskers in absence of the Chief Engineer or Deputy.
  • Attend meetings or discussions either in person, via telecon, or using Microsoft Teams if on-site gatherings and/or travel are restricted.
  • Coordinate with the Government Lead and schedule working at the onsite location at least two days per week.

Education/Experience:

Required: BS Degree in Engineering; 12 years of experience with 8 years of relevant experience.

Desired: MS Degree in Engineering; 10 years of experience with 6 years of relevant experience.

Currently hold and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. required
