The Business Analyst position is responsible to provide analytical support and solutioning to various functional teams as part of the Industrial Tenant Representation group. Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains and supports databases, including inputting and correcting data, determining formats, establishing specifications, updating sources, and ensuring data integrity.
Interacts with and conducts task analysis of system users to identify opportunities for improvements in productivity, integration and cost reduction while supporting synergies across the organization.
Troubleshoots day to day issues that arise while identifying business gaps and recommending solutions that reduce redundancies and inefficiencies across teams.
Analyzes system or process related issues/incidents as escalated and supports appropriate resolution(s).
Compiles / distributes ongoing metrics, reports, data mining, dashboards, presentations, flow diagrams, et al, to drive meaningful, timely and actionable insights that can be easily interpreted by users.
Prepares and reviews documentation including, but not limited to manuals, help documents, and business processes procedural documents.
Supports asset life cycle management and critical process workflows within the data center.
Recommends process improvement opportunities, documenting current state process and creating future state process documentation.
Delivers initiative-taking approach with each workgroup by function / geographic team regarding business process re-engineering, internal control objectives, and best practices to address business needs, identify and solve problems, and enhance service levels.
Supports compliance related functions, analysis and reporting including but not limited to records retention and audit response.
Supports client engineering application development efforts and systems integration testing / implementation activities.
Develops and implements training programs and communication plans to improve user adoption and effectiveness of new and existing features.
Provides technical solutioning as appropriate per skill set and ability.
IMPORTANT EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or commensurate experience
IMPORANT EXPERIENCE
Manage and maintain property information in Site Solutions
Manage and maintain lease and sale (building and land) comps in Site Solutions
Assist team members with additional analysis for pursuits and presentations
Strong working knowledge of data management best practices and experience implementing and maintaining them.
Proven ability determining business needs and developing technical requirements.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and to draw valid conclusions.
Solid business judgment, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
Demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong working knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office suite and other Business Intelligence tools
Comprehension of enterprise applications and business processes
Ability to find solutions to business problems from data-driven insights.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels and positions
Ability to provide solid customer service while exercising diplomacy.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently.
