Pay Range: $30.00/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
For the balance of the contract, assist Client's Equal Opportunity Team to carry out key Human Resources work assigned to this team.
Identify and analyze complex issues and problems requiring independent judgment and interpretation
Assist in the intake review and coordination of EO Team appeal case assignments and scheduling calls between EO Managers and former Client employees.
Create appeal case logs, folders, and creation of cases within the online appeal case management tool.
Review and audit of former employee rehire statuses, and engage with EO Team members to update information as needed.
Review and audit termination case information such as dismissal case files, rehire eligibility reviews, and accuracy of final termination information within HRIS tools.
Assist with EO committee work including but not limited to case reviews for meetings, agenda creation, managing case logs, and providing admin support during virtual committee meetings.
Create weekly EO report, gather case comparables, and assist with EO database management as needed.
Provide assistance to EO Team members as needed.
Participate in the design, development, and implementation of special projects as needed.
Assist with the improvement of EO processes and systems.
Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
PC proficiency including broad experience with Microsoft 365 Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook required; SAP, NAVEX/EthicsPoint, and/or Client experience preferred.
Must have the ability to professionally interact with employees at all levels of the company.
Must be able to understand and effectively apply legal concepts related to the application of the disciplinary process and investigations.
Must have strong writing, analysis, and investigative skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate in both written and verbal forms.
Should be organized and able to effectively coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Should be able to clearly articulate concepts and perspectives and debate these with HR business partners to reach consistent and equitable conclusions which align with Client's culture and values.
Must have the ability to work independently and complete duties in a thorough and efficient manner with a sense of urgency.
