Job Description

Candidate will provide Systems Engineering support for the analysis, design, integration and test of the Aegis Weapon System computer program related requirements on ACB20 and BMD 6.0. Tasking will include development of mission critical software and hardware requirements. Responsible for development of requirements using SysML diagrams and constructs. Responsible for completion of related tasks to meet cost and schedule. Responsibilities will also include interfacing with the US Navy customer in performing test and evaluation activities, interfacing with software teams to isolate and fix issues as they arise for various functional areas, and supporting testing.

Basic Qualifications:

· B.S. in an Engineering discipline.

· Previous Aegis Weapon System or Aegis Combat System experience is required.

· Candidate must have or be able to obtain a D.O.D. Secret clearance.

· Candidate should be capable of working in a fast paced environment while supporting multiple tasks.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skill is required.

Desired Skills

· Experience with IBM Rational DOORS

· Experience working in Systems Engineering processes with particular emphasis on top-down design

· Experience in developing requirements and test procedures

· Experience using SysML (Rhapsody experience preferred)
