Job Description Summary:


  • D&G is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support our contract with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) Technical Support Services (TSS) in Elizabeth City, NC. ALC provides logistics and depot maintenance support to all U.S. Coast Guard aviation assets including the C-27J Spartan, HC-144 Ocean Sentry, C-130 H/J Hercules, MH-60T Jayhawk, and MH-65D/E Dolphin.

Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Aeronautical Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) Program Manager.
  • Receive maintenance problem reports from field activities and request technical assistance. Provide analysis and recommendations for problem resolution, monitor fleet-wide maintenance and repair costs, and incorporate improvement within the USCG Asset Computerized Maintenance System (ACMS) support equipment maintenance procedures.
  • Write and maintain content of the ALC Support Equipment web page.
  • Conduct AGSE market research to collect and assemble information including, but not limited to, technical data packages, price, availability, quality initiatives in relation to American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and International Organization for Standards (ISO) 9000 requirements, source approval, and validation process and vendor capabilities.
  • Develop and update mandatory periodic inspections within the ACMS Mandatory Special Requirements (MSR) system for all support equipment sustained by the Engineering Support Branch (ESB).
  • Independently develop maintenance procedure cards (MPCs) enabling technicians to properly sustain AGSE supported by the ESB.
  • Generate Deficiency Reports (CG-22s) for AGSE technical publications.
  • Assist in the periodic revision of USCG Commandant Instructions, Technical Orders, and other policy or procedural documents.
  • Occasional travel to support Operational Unit Logistics Compliance Inspections (LCIs) and training of AGSE.

Requirements:


  • Five (5) years' experience supporting aircraft support equipment. Within the five (5) years, demonstrated experience in the following areas:

    • Experience locating, monitoring, and evaluating original equipment manufacturer (OEM) technical change directives within aviation maintenance, engineering, and logistics disciplines.
    • Experience independently developing and writing technical orders, maintenance procedure cards and engineering specifications including schematics and figures for the purpose of documenting approved depot level repairs and processes.
    • Experience working on complex engineering projects that require thorough research and coordination with engineering personnel.
    • Experience providing aircraft technical specifications and support to Divisions, Product Lines, or Operational Units in support of aircraft ground servicing equipment purchases, troubleshooting and interface issues. Includes experience communicating complex technical support information and troubleshooting data over email or phone clearly and accurately.
    • Experience reading and interpreting manufacturer blueprints and then troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic and fuel systems discrepancies to relay ground support information to Operational Units or Product Lines.

Pay Range: $67,000 - $73,000 per year
