BGIS is looking for a Facility Program Manager (White Space Engineering) to join the team in Phoenix, AZ.

The Facility Program Manager (White Space Engineering) supports client operations with the day-to-day coordination and implementations of activities pertaining to the oversight of white space deployment and engineering. The Facility Program Manager will be the primary individual to interface with the client's Data Center Managers as it pertains to white space projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Program Management
Provide oversight and coordination of white space activities including vendor management, rack, stack, infrastructure cabling, placement, cooling, and power deployments.
Coordinate with various stakeholders, and local authority having jurisdiction to install and power racks.
Document any electrical installations or decommissions to be signed off by local authority having jurisdiction to ensure installations met or exceed local code requirements.
Design, engineer, and coordinate build of white space deployments to include cabinets, racks, structured cabling, power from bus or receptacle to power strip, and air containment.
Manage vendors in data center space.
Manage projects and timely invoicing.
Support and manage rack and hardware SKU power allocation, documentation, and validation.
Problem solve to bring resolution to white space deployment related issues.
Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned.
Provide ongoing updates to internal team and clients regarding white space deployment project status and progress.
Document, manage and appropriately escalate project and client issues and concerns.
Evaluate industry trends as new standards emerge for best practices, and closely coordinate these potential opportunities with our client and share all applicable information.
Explain technical information in a clear manner internally to team members and externally to the client
Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor's degree in business, Facilities Management, Engineering or equivalent field of study or work experience.
Minimum five years' experience in facility management or related field.
Working knowledge of data center operations and system configurations.
Knowledge of fundamental electrical and mechanical Data Center operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical one-lines.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio along with working knowledge of SharePoint.
Self-driven and high proficiency of time management
Experience and understanding in procedure and process (authoring, reviewing, approving, and executing)
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Current valid driver's license and ability to provide personal transportation.
Physical ability to walk jobsites.
Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday.
Ability and willingness to work after hours, weekends, holidays, overtime as required, and being available 24x7x365.
Ability to travel up to 10
