TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Data Analyst II in Atlanta, GA.

Responsible for designated data and processes within TKE NA Supply chain organization. The role will help develop and install data governance principles to carefully govern and manage the data stream for which they are responsible. Keys to success in this role is the ability to build strong partnerships with both business and technology stakeholders, effectively work in matrixed teams through the
completion of data management objectives and ensure data quality standards are achieved. The ideal candidate will have Data Governance expertise, strong business acumen, and will be able to leverage these competencies to provide stewardship and oversight of key enterprise data.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Support the definition and authoring through a partnership with Business, Compliance and Technology stakeholders to operationalize Data Governance Policies, Processes and according to industry standard and best practice.

  • Support thought leadership and participation with projects that involve any of the upstream or downstream data flows and processes.

  • Serve as liaison with Business and Data/ Information Technology teams to apply data standards and processes (e.g., data access, classification, quality, certification, lifecycle and retention, etc.).

  • Assists in the implementation of data management tools and training for related tools.

  • Experience and deep knowledge of Master Data throughout an ERP landscape (Oracle preferred)

  • Partner with key Business Data and IT Systems SMEs to identify data that is critical to the success of their designated function

  • Supports monitoring data quality process, identifying data quality issue patterns, applying remediation plans, implementation of data controls, and manage data quality remediation strategies.

  • Perform root cause analysis for and drive the resolution of complex data quality issues

  • Support Master and Reference data opportunities to further advance the team's data management agenda

  • Define data "audit plan" and maintain business rules that will enable verification of data accuracy.

  • Participate in change management activities required to fix data quality and process issues

  • Develop and maintain master data RACI/matrix

  • Develop and/or approve names, definitions, and formulas for data enhancement during process improvement and implementation exercises.

  • Support external data sourcing by interviewing to prepare specifications, gathering information to facilitate negotiations, preparing technical documents, and ensuring universal understanding of the need

  • Challenge information received when it's not consistent with information already in the system or information found elsewhere.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Business Administration

  • 3 years of data management and/or data analysis experience
    Experience with understanding integration points between data fields throughout a system

  • Experience in analyzing data, running detailed business reports, or extracting data from a complex system

  • Experience in delivering results in a fast-paced environment

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Experience with pivot tables and V-Lookup functions in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with Oracle EBS a plus
