TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced CSC Coordinator I in Germantown, TN.
Responsible for prescreen and review of new orders and special projects. Review returned approvals and release projects on time to obtain firm ship date based on building schedule. Manage project throughout entire Order Management process; remove barriers that may delay project schedule. Coordinate pre-engineered and engineered New Installation (NI) projects using intermediate project management skills. Interface with general contractors, branch and sales staff to ensure proper procedures are followed and deadlines are met. Participate in special project meetings with internal and external customers. Train new or existing staff as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Review and analyze documentation for use in the preparation of complex New Installation (NI), submittal data including quoted prices, architectural drawings, and surveys.
Review and make necessary changes to quoted pricing based on customer driven changes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data presented for submittal drawings.
Prepare job status reports for interactive conference calls.
Prepare accurate and timely release orders to suppliers to assure the precise equipment is delivered in accordance with the contract schedule.
Correspond frequently with general contractors, branch and sales staff to ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
Respond to internal and external customer requests within time specified in our service level agreements.
Actively participate in special project meetings with internal and external customers.
Identify, resolve, and initiate problem resolution during life of the project.
Manage and lead intermediate projects through the order process by removing barriers that arise in various stages of the project. Ensure project flows through Order Management using intermediate project management skills such as communication, team management, leadership, negotiation, personal organization and risk management.
Process jobs by release deadline date to ensure requested ship dates are met.
Enter and maintain data on mainframe and Order Management database. Maintain related forms and files.
Minimal Supervision required and able to train the team members as needed. Check coworkers work as needed.
Maintain control system to distribute drawings to the proper department.
Maintain system to report cost changes to ensure accurate billing.
Train new or existing employees on Order Management processes.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree in a construction-related field is preferred; High School and/or Technical School is required.
Three or more years of project coordination in a construction-related field is required.
Intermediate project management skills such as communication, leadership, team management, negotiation, personal organization, and risk management are required.
Strong customer service experience and abilities are required.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
The ability to read, interpret, comprehend and organize technical drawings, specifications and procedure manuals is required.
Knowledge of commonly used drafting concepts, practices and procedures is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.
Requires the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages and ratios.
Must be organized and detail-oriented to manage multiple projects.
Strong knowledge of elevator product offerings is preferred.
