Compensation Range
Hourly: $22.60 - $26.70 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to protect the integrity of the Commerce Bank's Data Center and Network Production Environments and serve as an onsite authority for the data center environment in non-prime hours.
Work Schedule (3rd Shift):
Thursday 1:00 am to 7:30 am
Thursday evening 7:00 pm through Friday 7:00 am
Friday evening 7:00 pm through Saturday morning 7:30 am
Saturday evening 7:00 pm to Sunday Morning 7:30 am
Essential Functions
Utilize operational dashboard products to generate problem alerts and escalate issues as requested
Monitor production jobs for completion
Participate in recovery tests by performing documented recovery steps
Generate daily reporting as assigned. Participate in the daily turnover report, reviewing any issues that occurred during the shift with the incoming Network Specialists
Ensure appropriate escalation and documentation of Severity 1 incidents and notify the pre-defined list of IT Managers and support personnel
Ensure tickets assigned to the Data Center Operations and Network Operations workgroups are worked in a correct and timely manner
Communicate service outages via Alert Media and Teams
Review and ensure accurate, updated procedures and documentation
Evaluate and approve or facilitate the approvals of emergency change controls, serving as the authority for implementing emergency changes
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Intermediate knowledge of ticketing software, monitoring tools, networks, TCP/IP, firewalls, Windows, AIX, or equivalent skills
Intermediate knowledge of banking business processes with emphasis on critical applications and how they inter-relate
Knowledge of job scheduling software preferred
Ability to proactively respond to problems discovered while monitoring the environment and remain dependable
Strong analytical abilities
Strong customer service skills
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Associate's degree preferred.
4+ years related experience and/or training in a large-scale Data Center with multiple platforms required
Preferred knowledge of the following area(s): MVS, JES2, ,, SDSF, JAVA, Qbasic, SQL(Oracle 8i), TSO, HTML, , platforms, Citrix , CCNA, JNCIA-JUNOS, VCTA-NV, Microsoft Fundamentals Knowledge of monitoring software such as Nagios ,and Tivoli or equivalent
