McKesson Health Systems (MHS) Field Sales Support Intern
McKesson's Intern Program offers an opportunity for high potential candidates to gain real world exposure to the industry of healthcare distribution and services.Interns will apply their education in real world scenarios with McKesson's Health Systems Field Sales Team and Customers to connect their strengths and interests with the needs of the business in addition to developing a foundational understanding of an ever-changing industry.
The Field Sales Support Intern will operate in conjunction with McKesson's Health Systems Field Sales Team Members, customers, and the overall business.Viewed as a trusted business advisor, the Field Sales Support Intern will be responsible for supporting our field sales team in delivering the highest quality experience to established health systems customers within a geographic territory.The learning focus will be experiential, interns will gain exposure to many people and factors such as sales techniques, research strategies and behind the scenes responsibilities that contribute to success within the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare distribution and services.
Intern Program Details:
•Paid Internship
•Full time / 10 weeks
•Positions are remote with travel
•No company-sponsored housing, relocation, student visa or Green Card assistance available
•The internship program provides networking, access to executives, structured performance & coaching
•Experiential learning and training provided by exposure to subject matter experts
Minimum Requirements:
•Enrolled as a full-time student at the time of the internship, at the Undergraduate or Graduate level
•Must have completed a minimum of 75 credit hours by the start of the internship
•At least 18 Years of age
•Authorized to work in the United States
•Ability to work 40 hours per week, available during core hours for critical meetings and training
•Willingness to learn, develop, and contribute to a fun, demanding, fast-paced environment
•Self-starter that brings both interpersonal skills and a superior ability to identify a problem then solve
•Exhibit excellent communication skills, verbal, non-verbal, interpersonal, and written
Responsibilities:
•Work collaboratively with Field Sales team and other cross-functional team members to support the customer relationship and handle a variety of customer support functions
•Perform sales and administrative tasks and procedures under managerial direction on small to mid-size accounts
•Performs competitive analysis, tracks industry trends and market conditions, and report to key stakeholders
•Learning and demonstrating our core competencies including adaptability/flexibility, customer focus, decision making/judgment, initiative, and quality
•Ride along with team members to observe, participate, and interface with customers directly
•Communicates issues and roadblocks related to areas of responsibility
•Present products, solutions or services that can benefit the customer's needs
•Sales training, including pre-call planning, analysis, and presentation preparation
•Weekly intern driven meetings, professional development, weekly workshops and trainings, final project presentation
•Professional development and sales trainings, final project presentation
•Support additional ad hoc projects as requested

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$16.50 - $27.50
