As a Project Coordinator, you will lead project teams of 1-5 members, overseeing the planning, scheduling, and control of project activities. You will act as a specialist for specific projects, maintaining detailed knowledge of all aspects and staying updated on new developments and technologies. Your role includes monitoring projects and recommending changes to enhance efficiency, as well as developing budget estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage small projects for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance.
Oversee staff involved in planning, leading, controlling, and monitoring to ensure safe, quality, on-schedule, and within-budget work.
Handle all aspects of project implementation, including budget management, work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, safety, work prioritization, resource loading, and conflict resolution.
Develop and track budgets, ensuring progress through regular interface with clients, engineers, and management.
Develop and manage contracts, and interface with vendors.
Prepare and deliver communications to various groups, including senior management.
Develop and maintain long-range plan strategies for assigned projects.
Support the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program.
Provide outage support, including OCC.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university, plus 1 year of experience in a technical field.
OR Associate's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or a related technical curriculum from an accredited college or university, plus 3 years of experience in a technical field.
OR High School Diploma/GED, plus 5 years of experience in a technical field.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Project Management Certification.
Construction Management Certification.
Required Skills:
Basic project management techniques.
Core values related to human performance and cost-effective work execution.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with error reduction and human performance improvement methods.
Experience in managing projects, on-line work management, refueling and forced outage management, engineering, or standard project management techniques.
